Titles in Junior Divisions Kick Off Masters!

Pine Mountain, GA (May 28, 2021) – The Ski Nautique and Super Air Nautique G23 made their weekend debut on Robin Lake today, as the world’s best junior waterski and wakeboard athletes claimed titles during the 28th Nautique Junior Mastere, presented by GM Marine.
 
The world record-setting Ski Nautique started the day pulling Pablo Font (MEX) to a new course record and the Junior Men's title with a score of 10,030 points. Kennedy Hansen (USA) took home the Junior Women's Trick discipline behind the Ski Nautique as well after scoring 7,980 points. “I feel extremely happy about the results and grateful for everyone who’s helped me get here!” said Pablo Font. “The conditions were really good, as the wake was smooth and clean.”
 
It was a day of course records, as Federico Jaramillo (COL) showcased his talents and received a Junior Masters title during the Junior Men’s Slalom final after he ran 3.00 @ 10.75 M. Success was in the family today as Federico’s sister, Luisa Jaramillo (COL), took home the Masters Junior Women’s Slalom title after she ran 0.00 @ 11.25 M.

The conditions were perfect for the Junior Women’s Jump division, where Agustina Varas (CHI) jumped an incredible distance of 144 feet (43.8m) to win the 28th Junior Masters title for her division. The Ski Nautique pulled Pôl Duplan-Fribourg (FRA) during the Junior Men’s Jump to a distance of 186 feet (56.6m) to win the Junior Men's Jump discipline.
 
The award-winning Super Air Nautique G23 set up perfect wakes for the Junior Men’s Wakeboard riders, and after it was all said and done Jamie Huser (SUI) who took home the Junior Masters title. After laying down two perfect passes behind the award-winning G23 in the Junior Women’s Wakeboard division, Kira Lewis (USA) celebrated her first Junior Masters title on the iconic Robin Lake.

After it was all said and done, it was Kennedy Hansen (USA) taking the Overall Junior Women Masters title behind the Ski Nautique with 3,000 points. On the Junior Men side of things, it was Blaze Grubbs (USA) who won the Overall Junior Men Masters title after accumulating 2,758.4 points.
