ORLANDO (August 4, 2025) – Team Nautique athlete Charlie Ross claimed victory to defend his title in the Under 21 Men’s Slalom division this past weekend at the 2025 IWWF World Under 21 Waterski Championships held at the renowned Predator Bay Water Ski Club in Calgary, Alberta.
Running 3 @ 41 off, Charlie not only emerged victorious, but also tied the U21 World Record in Men’s Slalom, a benchmark he set at the previous U21 Worlds in 2023.
“Winning the U21 World Championships on home soil here in Canada and defending my title as U21 World Champion is an incredible honor,” said Nautique athlete Charlie Ross. “Competing behind the Ski Nautique brings out the best in every athlete - its smooth, consistent pull and unbelievably flat wake gave me the confidence needed to tie the U21 World Championships World Record.”
Charlie Ross’s consistent excellence in Men’s Slalom continues to make history behind the Ski Nautique, and with each record-setting performance, he cements himself as one of the sport’s brightest rising stars with an incredible future ahead.
“Charlie’s performance at the U21 World Championships was nothing short of exceptional,” said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “The Ski Nautique has proven itself as the trusted choice for record-breaking moments - a symbol of precision, consistency, and excellence that continues to shape the future of waterskiing, enabling athletes like Charlie to push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
