ORLANDO, FL (August 5, 2025) – The 2025 Nautique WWA National Championships presented by GM Marine prevailed as the largest towed watersports event of the year featuring six different disciplines of competition for amateurs and pros alike: Wakeboard, Wakeskate, Surf, Skim, Foil, and Foil-Strapped.  As stop 3 of 4 in the 2025 Nautique Wake Series and stop 3 of 5 in the 2025 Nautique Wakesurf Series, the stakes were high as athletes battled for crucial points toward the overall series rankings.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Highline Lake State Park in Grand Junction, Colorado, the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23 and G23 Paragon pulled 303 competitors ranging from 7 to 63 years of age to the coveted National Titles.

With deep water and excellent conditions, the Super Air Nautique G23 threw textbook perfect wakes in the wakeboard divisions, resulting in some of the most progressive and elite riding to date. Team Nautique athletes Zahra Kell and Cory Teunissen put incredible passes together landing them in second and third place in the Pro Women and Pro Men Wakeboard divisions, respectively. With this second-place finish, Zahra leads the women in the 2025 Nautique Wake Series rankings with 170 points, and Cory is second in the men’s rankings with 170 points, just 20 points shy of the series leader, Nic Rapa, who has 190 points.

In the Pro Women Surf and Skim divisions, the Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon’s endless waves set the stage for Team Nautique athletes Jodi Grassman and Bailey Dunn as they surfed to podium finishes. Jodi claimed the Nationals title in Pro Women Surf with Bailey placing third, and in the Pro Women Skim division, Jodi took third place. With this, Bailey sits as the current 2025 Nautique Surf Series leader in both Pro Women Skim and Surf, with 300 and 335 points, respectively. Jodi follows close behind with 260 points in both the Pro Women Skim and Surf rankings.

Team Nautique athletes Noah Flegel and Joey Harris also claimed Nationals Titles with Noah winning both Pro Men Foil divisions and Joey placing first in Pro Men Surf. Noah also landed on the podium in Pro Men Surf with a second-place finish. These results cement Noah as the series leader in all four surf style divisions with 200 points in Pro Men Surf, 190 points in Pro Men Skim, 100 points in Pro Men Foil, and 100 points in Pro Men Foil-Strapped. Joey Harris is ranked third overall in Pro Men Surf with 90 points, and fellow Team Nautique athletes John Akerman and Drew Drennan are also among the top Pro Men with John ranking third in Pro Men Skim and Drew ranking third in Pro Men Foil.

“The level of talent on display at this year’s Nautique Nationals was truly inspiring,” said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “With series titles on the line and athletes giving it everything they’ve got, this stop highlighted exactly why the Nautique Wake and Wakesurf Series are the pinnacle of our sport. We’re honored to support events that fuel progression and unite the global towed watersports community.”
