ORLANDO (September 15, 2025) – The 2025 Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships presented by GM Marine made a powerful statement this past weekend at Sunset Cove in Boca Raton, Florida, as the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23 pulled 180 of the world’s most elite wakeboarders, wakeskaters, and foil riders to claim the coveted World and Overall Titles at the fourth and final stop of the 2025 Nautique Wake Series.

With amateur and professional riders ranging from 5 to 68 years of age from 20 different countries, the event once again lived up to its storied reputation of delivering the pinnacle of competitive wakeboarding, wakeskating, and foiling. This inclusive format has proven to foster talent while promoting the growth of the sport - reinforcing the Nautique Wake Series’ legacy as a riders-first, progression-driven tour that places athlete development and community at its core.

The Pro Women Wakeboard Final stood out as a defining moment of the weekend, with industry experts calling it one of the most technically advanced finals in the history of Women’s Wakeboarding. Team Nautique athlete Zahra Kell emerged victorious to be crowned both the 2025 Pro Women World Champion and 2025 Nautique Wake Series Overall Champion with two flawless stand-up passes packed with jaw-dropping tricks, including a back five, dum dum, nose cab five, and KGB.  This marks Zahra’s fifth World Title and third consecutive Nautique Wake Series Overall Title, firmly cementing her legacy as one of the greatest Pro Women Wakeboards of all time.

“I can’t even explain how hyped I am to take first place in the Nautique Wake Series and WBWS for the third year in a row as well as my fifth World Title,” said Nautique athlete, Zahra Kell. “It was such an amazing event, and the hardest final I have ever been a part of! The pressure was on! Thank you so much to the WWA and to Nautique for providing the best wakes in the industry!”

The Pro Men Wakeboard Final also featured highly technical and progressive riding from the world’s best. Team Nautique athlete Cory Teunissen threw down impressive passes behind the GM Marine powered Super Air Nautique G23, earning enough points to secure the second spot on the 2025 Nautique Wake Series Overall podium.

Team Nautique athletes Noah Flegel and Erika Lang are other honorable mentions, as Noah swept the Pro Men Foil divisions once again, taking the win in both Pro Men Foil and Pro Men Foil – Strapped. Erika took third in Pro Women Foil with a second-place finish in Pro Women Foil – Strapped.

“The 2025 Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships was a showcase of everything wakeboarding represents - performance, progression, and community,” said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “It was an honor to witness riders of all ages and skill levels - from groms to pros - push their limits behind the Super Air Nautique G23. This event was the perfect way to cap off the 2025 Nautique Wake Series, and we’re proud to support a platform that continues to elevate the sport and inspire the next generation of wakeboarders around the world.”

As the final chapter of the 2025 Nautique Wake Series comes to a close, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the riders, families, sponsors, and vendors who made this season one for the history books. Your passion, support, and dedication continue to drive the sport forward, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2026 as we continue to grow the global wake community together.
