"Over the past 11 years at Nautique, my career has been shaped by steady growth, hands-on learning, and a willingness to support the organization wherever I was needed. I began in Lamination (FRP) and gradually expanded my experience across Patch and Polish, the Gerber CNC table, Pulling, and eventually back to Lamination before settling into Pulling long-term. Each transition strengthened my versatility and deepened my understanding of our operations, ultimately preparing me for leadership roles. Being selected for the inaugural Future Leadership Program was a defining milestone, leading to my promotion as FRP Lead and later to leadership roles within the Upholstery department, where I now serve as Supervisor.
What has made this journey especially meaningful is Nautique’s culture - one that truly invests in people, encourages continuous improvement, and creates space for employees to grow into their potential. The company’s commitment to developing leaders from within and its dedication to community involvement have shaped not only my career but also my sense of purpose here. "I love working at Nautique because of the type of work I get to do. Getting hands-on with the mule boats, designing the hulls, decks, stringers, and getting to travel to the mold shops. I love how we are constantly improving our products and processes. It's cool to get to see these projects go from fully in CAD to experiencing the boats on the water!
I love how we feel like a family. I've never been so close with my coworkers before. Everyone is always happy to lend a hand, and everyone has unique skills and knowledge for different problems you may have. Team building lunches on Fridays are also a great perk.
