ORLANDO, FL (November 18, 2024) – Team Nautique athlete Neilly Ross has broken the World Record in Women's Trick with a score of 11,380 points behind the record-setting Ski Nautique.
The record was set during the Okee 3 Event Tournament held at Ski Club of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida and has been approved by the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF).
“Since I was 8, I have put every ounce of effort into the dream of breaking the World Record,” said Team Nautique athlete Neilly Ross. “I’m incredibly grateful for my competitors, with whom we have pushed each other—and the sport—to new, previously unthinkable heights. And of course, for the unparalleled performance of the world record-setting Ski Nautique.”
Neilly has had a strong season thus taking second at the 64th Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament®, presented By GM Marine in May and now etching her name into history with yet another world record behind the Ski Nautique.
“I’d like to congratulate Neilly Ross on this monumental accomplishment!” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. "The Ski Nautique has once again provided the consistent pull that allows athletes to break world records. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Neilly for the remainder of the season!“
