Melbourne, Australia (March 11, 2025) – The 64th Nautique Moomba Masters presented by GM Marine delivered an unforgettable weekend in Melbourne, Australia with a massive crowd of over 1.25 million people, new course records, and numerous Nautique athletes claiming the coveted Nautique Moomba Masters titles.

The huge crowds of Melbourne’s largest community festival lined the Yarra River to witness the world’s best junior and professional waterskiers and wakeboarders battle it out behind the record-breaking Ski Nautique and award-winning Super Air Nautique G23.

During the Open Women’s Trick division, Team Nautique athlete Erika Lang set a new course record of 10,830 points behind the Ski Nautique in the preliminary round, punching her ticket into the finals round on Moomba Monday. Team Nautique athletes Anna Hunter and Neilly Ross joined Erika in the finals to dominate the podium with Erika taking the win, Anna taking second, and Neilly taking third place.

Team Nautique athlete Charlie Ross was crowned the 2025 Nautique Moomba Masters Open Men’s Slalom Champion with 4 @ 39 off behind the Ski Nautique, and Team Nautique athlete Thomas Degasperi claimed second place with 3.5 @ 39 off.

In the Open Women’s Slalom division, Team Nautique athlete Whitney Rini found herself at the top of the Moomba Masters podium for the 10th time after running 1.5 @ 39 off. The second spot on the podium went to Team Nautique athlete Regina Jaquess, who also took third in the Open Women’s Jump division after jumping 162 ft. in the final round.

Team Nautique athletes Cory Teunissen and Zahra Kell felt right at home as they both rode to victory behind the Super Air Nautique G23, taking the 2025 Nautique Moomba Masters titles in Pro Men’s Wakeboard and Pro Women’s Wakeboard, respectively. This marks the third consecutive year of Zahra reigning as the Nautique Moomba Masters Pro Women’s Wakeboard Champion!

The victories achieved by Nautique athletes Erika Lang, Charlie Ross, Whitney Rini, Zahra Kell, and Cory Teunissen earned them the well-deserved qualification for the prestigious 65th Nautique Masters Water Ski and Wakeboard Tournament presented by GM Marine that will take place this Memorial Day weekend at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Nautique is thrilled to see their athletes rise to the occasion, setting the stage for more remarkable accomplishments ahead.
