NAUTIQUE ATHLETES CLAIM WORLD TITLES AT THE 2019 WATERSKI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Putrajaya, Malaysia (August 19, 2019) – After capping off an incredible week of competition, Nautique team athletes captured a wopping five world titles in various disciplines during the IWWF Waterski World Championships. Held in scenic Putrajaya, the event took place over the course of 5 days with fierce competition in all divisions. The Ski Nautique was on hand to provide athletes from all across the globe with the perfect pulls across all disciplines. During Men’s Jump, Canadian waterskier and Nautique athlete Ryan Dodd captured first place along with his 3rd World title in a row. Australian waterskier and Nautique athlete Jacinta Carroll continued her reign at the top with her 4th consecutive World title in the Women’s Jump division, making this her 40th consecutive event win in a row. American waterskier and Nautique athlete Anna Gay pushed herself once again and claimed top spot on the podium in the Women’s Trick division behind the Ski Nautique. Pato Font, a Nautique athlete hailing from Mexico, continued his phenomenal season by capturing his first World title in the Men’s Trick division as well.

When it was all said and done in the Women’s overall rankings, it was Whitney McClintock-Rini who captured the top spot. “I’ve been waiting for this moment for 10 years. After injury and so many disappointments it was hard to believe it was possible to regain the World Overall Crown,” said Nautique athlete Whitney McClintock-Rini “In 2019 I committed to working hard to make it happen and trusting God’s plan as it all played out.”
