I’d have to say Bailey, although we compete against each other, we push each other to be better and have become great friends since she’s joined the team!

Most difficult thing you’ve ever done

Probably finding my way around a different country alone when I was a teenager.

Most rewarding part of your job

Watching the sport grow and seeing the younger generation embrace it. Their excitement reminds me why I fell in love with it.

If you could give someone one piece of advice, what would it be?

Have fun. You got into the sport because you enjoyed the learning process and the people who surround you. Don’t lose that. Progress flows easiest when you are not weighed down by pressure.

Hobbies outside of surfing

Traveling with my wife, Chelsea, working out, and doing any outdoor activity!

Favorite feature on the Nautique you surf behind

A couple of my favorite features (because I can’t just pick one) is the Board Management System for easy access to grab my boards, the overall functionality of the user-friendly Helm Command Center, and of course the incredible hull design and NSS for the perfect wave!

Essentials for a day on the water

Good music, good company, sunscreen, hydration, my Hyperlite gear, and gas in my G23 Paragon!

Who is your role model?

100% my Wake for Warriors family. It reminds me that it’s not just a boat, board, and water. This sport heals the heart and mind.

An interesting fact that most people don’t know about you

I am currently in school to reach my end goal as a Recovery and Mobility Specialist.

Favorite Music to Play on Your Nautique

No song specifically, but depending on my mood from chill surf/foil to intense “go big” attitude, it ranges from Rüfüs du Sol, to pop music, to 90’s/2000’s hip hop.
