TORONTO, CANADA (August 28, 2017) - This past weekend the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships wrapped up in Toronto, Canada as the best riders in the world showcased their skills behind the G23. It also acted as the 4th and final stop of the Nautique Wake Series, the highest caliber event series in wakeboarding. With amateur and pro riders competing together, it was a packed 4 days of on-water action going on simultaneously with the Canadian National Exhibition.

During the amateur divisions, the G23 set up perfect wakes for the young guns from around the globe to highlight their best riding. The adaptive divisions were also out in full force, capturing World Titles with the scenic Toronto skyline in the back drop.

For the Pro Women, Megan Ethell and Raimi Rutledge both took full advantage of their comfort behind the G23 during the final round. Meagan Ethell took her second win in just as many events this year, with Raimi Rutledge right behind her in second spot. This second place finish for Raimi sealed the overall title for the Naituque Wake Series, capping off a fantastic season for her.

During the Pro Men division, Mike Dowdy and the rest of the Nautique team also felt right at home behind the award-winning G23. Dowdy claimed third spot on the podium and was enough points to earn him the second spot in the overall rankings on the Nautique Wake Series.
