ORLANDO, FL (April 19, 2018) – Nautique was honored by the United Safety Council with two awards during their annual awards ceremony. The Nautique team was proud to be a recipient of the Silver medal for the Corporate Safety Award, an achievement given to companies based on their overall level of safety accomplished in the past year. Along with this incredible achievement, Nautique’s Environmental Health, Safety and Security Manager, Bart Drummond, received a Silver medal for the Safety Leadership Award. This is given to an individual who is dedicated to safety, and Bart has been instrumental in establishing the culture of safety at Nautique.

Safety is encouraged and rewarded company-wide which has led to this achievement. Establishing safety standards throughout the factory and educating the employees about them is at the core of Nautique’s culture. The passion for safety at Nautique starts with the well-being of its employees and their families, and the team has been fully committed to integrating these strategies into the manufacturing process.

“The entire Nautique Team is extremely focused on the priority of safety in our operations,” stated Nautique president Greg Meloon. “Being recognized by the United Safety Council is an incredible honor and highlights the continuous efforts to developing a Safety Culture that is industry leading.”
