ORLANDO, FL (September 28, 2020) – Nautique Boat Company is extremely proud to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued U.S. Patent No. 10,782,690 for the Integrated Steering AssistTM system found on specific Nautique boats.

With a thruster mounted at the stern of the boat, the Integrated Steering AssistTM option provides exceptional maneuverability for the G-Series and Paragon models. Whether you are docking in tight quarters, want to reverse in a straight line or are simply looking for more control on the open lake, the innovative feature allows you to quickly adjust the the boat to the left or right and greatly improves the overall driving experience.

While the Integrated Steering AssistTM feature has the ability to be utilized in multiple ways by the driver, the patent attributes Nautique’s incorporation of the thruster into the primary steering system of the boats. While one of the most unique aspects of Steering Assist is that it has ability to operate in concert with the existing steering systems, it also utilizes varying power to adjust the boat's position according to the driver’s controls and to eliminate cavitation.

“The Nautique Team is honored to be recognized by the U.S. Patent Office for our continuous efforts to be a leading innovator within the marine space,” said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “Our team is truly at the forefront of technology and is more determined than ever to provide our customers with the highest quality products and an unparalleled experience.”
