I have written many times about how spending time in a Nautique is a great way to invest in your family; I know it has been for mine. I was reminded of this once again over this past July 4th weekend.

My brother Doug and his family came to Orlando for a long holiday weekend and our families spent much of our time together on the lake enjoying our Crossover Nautique 226. We wakeskated, wakesurfed and tubed for hours on end, from morning to night, for three straight days. Everyone had a blast and couldn’t get enough. The 226 ran like a charm and was perfect for spending lots of hours on the lake.

Saturday night we even used the 226 to watch fireworks. Every year there is a great fireworks show over the lake behind our house so what better way to watch them then by sitting in a Nautique. The 226 was comfortable for all eleven of us as we enjoyed a great show.

To top off the long weekend, legendary wakeskater Brandon Thomas (BT) stopped by our house Sunday afternoon for some fun – BT is a blast to hang out with and we enjoyed watching him ride. The 226 put up a great wake for Brandon as he showed us once again why he is among the greatest wakeskaters ever.

Finally, on another note, this coming weekend we will be holding the Air Nautique Wakeboard National Championships in Oklahoma City.
